Data Collection & Usage

Whally doesn't collect any kind of data, personal information, or usage analytics. We have a strict zero-data collection policy.

All chat analysis is performed entirely on your device using local processing. Your WhatsApp conversations never leave your phone.

Local Processing Only

When you import a WhatsApp chat file, all analysis happens locally on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. We don't send your messages, conversations, or any personal data to external servers. Everything is processed in your device's memory and automatically cleared when you close the app or load a new chat.

What We Don't Track

We don't track your usage patterns, which chats you analyze, how often you use the app, or any other behavioral data. The app works completely offline and doesn't require an internet connection for core functionality.

File Import

You manually share WhatsApp exported chat files with Whally through iOS's standard sharing system. These files are processed temporarily in memory and are not permanently stored on your device by our app.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are handled securely through Apple's App Store. We don't have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during purchase transactions.

Third-Party Services

Whally does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external service we use is Apple's App Store for in-app purchases.

Data Security

Since no data leaves your device, your chat information benefits from Apple's built-in iOS security protections. All processing happens locally using iOS native frameworks, ensuring maximum privacy and security.
